Road to the Games 2019

The 2019 Reebok CrossFit Games is set to begin next week, August 1st. The Games is an athletic competition between some of the fittest men and women from around the world. Athletes compete in multiple events made up of a broad range of movements for a chance to earn the title of "Fittest on Earth". VIRUS is proud to have multiple athletes representing the Vteam on the Games competition stage.  Also, be on the lookout for the VIRUS booth at the competition venue. This year, VIRUS will be bringing event exclusive products, discounts, and free gifts with purchase.

VTeam Athlete Bjorgvin Gudmundsson is currently the reigning 5x Icelandic Open Champion. BKG has qualified as an individual and competed at the Reebok CrossFit games the past four years with as high as a third-place finish in 2015, and fifth place in 2017. BKG is looking for a podium finish at 2019 CrossFit Games. Be on the lookout for BKG's exclusive shirt at the VIRUS booth. 

Jason Carroll, former 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games Athlete is looking to make some noise at the 2019 Games. He attributes a lot of his success to his extensive knowledge from the past 10 years of coaching and his education in Strength/Conditioning & Biomechanics. Jason's exclusive Games American Muscle Tee will be available at the VIRUS booth.

Julie Hougård Nielsen, is a full-time medical student and CrossFit athlete. After a first-place finish in the Open in Denmark, Julie has punched her ticket to the 2019 CrossFit Games this August in Madison, WI.
