Grand Teton Triathlon

Grand Teton Triathlon

Time to Grow: Documentary

42 Mile Ride. 2.6 Mile Swim. 23 Mile Trek. 9,000 Feet of Elevation

The Grand Teton Triathlon is not an official race, but what some say is the official triathlon of either a mad man or an inspired man.—that’s Levi Sampley a father, husband, videographer and leader— There’s no time limit, no starting gun, no ticker tape, no numbers pinned to your shirt. The journey consists of a 21 mile bike ride to Jenny Lake, swim 1.3 miles across the lake, hike and climb 11.5 miles and 9000 vertical feet to the top of the Grand Teton, and repeat the entire process in reverse.
